Research areas and focuses:

The main purpose of the INQUA Peribaltic WG is to improve level of scientific research and communication between researchers through regular meetings, discussions, field excursions and publication of research results. The WG also facilitates international cooperation for the interdisciplinary study of scientific problems dealing with the Quaternary.

WG’s research areas are well reflected in the themes of the annual symposia (see: Past conferences/field excursions), that is much related to the glacial history of the Peribaltic region during the Quaternary.
